9 students were told about this examination in March 20. 4 students which took Intelligence Seminar and 5 students which did not take Intelligence seminar cooperated this examination. The examination score (0 - 100) of the third term (taken in March 4 to 10) of each student in Japanese, English, and mathematics was taken from those of the second term (taken in December 3 to 9). The mean of the difference by students which took Intelligence Seminar in Japanese (Mean = 5.75, Standard Deviation = 10.34) and Mathematics (M = 3.13, SD = 7.05) was larger than those by students which did not take Intelligence Seminar in Japanese (M = -7.1, SD = 13.14) and Mathematics (M = -11.1, SD = 12.72), whereas that by students which took in English (M = -4.25, SD = 6.74) was not larger than that by students which did not take (M = -2.3, SD = 8.00). The statistical significance cannot be expected because of the degree of freedom.
7 participants were a student which was taking the course "Entrepreneurship
A" at Kanagawa prefectual Kamitsuruma senior high school. Through this
course, for reconstruction support, they was
executing the production, promotion, and sale of sweets which include
regional materials.
In this case, Inteligence Seminar had three class for them. This class
was a chance of reflecting own judgment process for accuracy. It was likely
to be understood (although not perfectly) to see the result of survey
linked above. Based on my feelings, they were likely to be enjoying
Intelligence Seminar. In addition, there are more than 10% of positive
effect in Japanese and Mathematics examination. It is interesting that
Intelligence seminar might increase participants' ability in
language and thinking. Although the statistical significance were dubious,
Intelligence seminar could support development of their inteligence in fact.
On the other hand, in my view, there should be tricks to enable
participants to apply what they learned in Intelligence Seminar for
more effective support.
