Sensors on the earth observation satellite are monitoring environmental changes on the earth. Data generated by MODIS has high temporal and low spatial resolution, whereas data generated by ASTER has high spatial and low temporal resolution. Modified Kalman filter can present high temporal and high spatial resolution estimation based on MODIS and ASTER data, by which it is expected that we can understand global environment more minutely. The future studies will examine the efficiency of the estimation in modified Kalman filter to understand global environment.
